Seamed hosiery has become popular  in recent years due to the nostalgic look worn by style icon Dita Von Teese – Queen of Burlesque. Dita, regarded as one of the most stylish woman in the world confessed that she is obsessed with seamed stockings. She wears them everyday.

Dita also has her own collection of Full Fashioned Stockings with Secrets In Lace. These stockings are made to the exact standards of the 1950’s originals, with Dita’s trademark logo printed on the welt, a hand sewn backseam and keyhold at the top of the welt. If you have very fair skin like Dita, you will look gorgeous in a pair of beige. They are also available in black.

Dita Von Teese said :

“I have been obsessed with seamed stockings my whole life, and I would collect vintage ones that were made in the ’40s and ’50s with the authentic styling of the keyhole, the welt, the reinforced toe and heels, French or Cuban heels, and hand-stitched seams. I can’t stand faux-seamed stockings with lycra — you lose the sensual feeling of the fabric. So, I began shopping with Secrets In Lace, and together we made the ultimate fancy-styled seamed stocking.”

Used seamed stockings for sale

Vintage seamed stockings has become highly collectible in recent years. What about USED seamed stockings ?

Dita Don Teese is selling her used seamed stockings on her website. The website reads.

“All stockings are worn by Dita as one of her regular undergarments so supplies are limited, some wear and tear may have occurred. Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery. We will try to get them to you in a more timely fashion but due to the fact that we only want to give you stockings genuinely worn by Dita sometimes you may experience delay. “

Dita says “I can’t keep up with demand. I mentioned them on French TV and we completely sold out.”
